Intensity, imaginations, and innovation are qualities that should stand out in art, all art period.  They must be right there, front and center, readily apparent.  There cannot be limitations or boundaries that hinder the making or display of art.  Making art is always an intellectual challenge and a learning experience.

Artists cannot get too comfortable.  New horizons must be sought out and pursued-always pushing, expanding knowledge, working and perfecting new techniques-striving to create art of lasting import.

In the end, art impacts people in different ways.  Ideally, it should encourage examination and reflection.  From that, the effort and passion in it ought to be apparent.
